wanted to quickly share this with everyone. My roommate is a huge hockey fan
and during a game yesterday I over heard the new Penguins commercial and it is set
to the song Radioactive by Imagine Dragons. I decided I wanted to listen to
the entire song so I went on YouTube, and it really reminded me of Dodd in It
Came from Del Rio (the lyrics more than the video). If I had to give this book a soundtrack this would have to be it (at least for what we have read so far).

That's a great observation! I agree with you, this seems like it would be a perfect soundtrack for this book, espeically if there is or was a movie made for it!
ReplyDeleteI think if It Came From Del Rio was made into a movie, that it would be an awesome, suspenseful, edge-of-your-seat, nail biting, and great movie if rendered exactly from the book!

ReplyDeleteThis is a great find for a video that resembles It Came Fro Del Rio! Ironically, this song is one that I've enjoyed listening to recently. However, I didn't imagine the video would be like this when listening to the song. The video relates to It Came From Del Rio in a couple of ways. One is definitely the western theme of the bar where the video takes place. Another is how the stuffed animal at the end has supernatural powers. Dodd was a huge rabbit and was radioactive. Dodd is very similar to the stuffed animal in the video.
